A grieving workforce at the   Development Academy of the Philippines will pay tribute to its fallen Chairman, Cayetano W. Paderanga Jr., in necrological rites that have been set today, February 2, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Maria della Strada Chapels along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon city.

This was announced by DAP President Antonio D. Kalaw Jr., whose official announcement of Paderanga’s sudden, unexpected demise at yesterday’s flag ceremony was read by Corporate Communications Director Maria Aurora Umali as he was unable to make it to the weekly program because of an important meeting in Malacañang.

Kalaw, still visibly affected by the developments, will lead fellow DAPpers in paying their last respects to Paderanga, who passed away last January 29 from complications arising from an open- heart surgery he underwent on January 18 at the St. Luke’s Medical Center at Global City.

Program

The program will be opened with an invocation/doxology by the DAP Chorale, after which  eulogies to be spearheaded by Kalaw himself will follow.

Other speakers at the program will include who were closely associated with Paderanga in his memorable stint at the Academy.  These are former DAP President Dr. Eduardo Gonzalez, DAP Senior Vice President Magdalena Mendoza, DAP Vice President Trygve Bolante, Civil Service Commissioner and the DAP Board of Trustees’ most senior member Nieves Osorio, DAP Productivity Development Center Director Maria Theresa Agustin, DAP Public Management Development Program Director Nanette Caparros, DAP consultant Dennis Legaspi, and Career Executive Service Board Executive Director Atty. Ma. Anthonette Allones.

A response from the family of the late Chairman will then follow along with a turnover of mementos of Paderanga to his family.

Special numbers from the DAP Chorale and the group Harana ng Kasarinlan will also intersperse the messages of the speakers.
