The Verwaltungsakademie Berlin (Administrative Academy of Berlin or VAk) received a delegation from the Philippines on February 16, 2016 for a dialogue and an exchange of information on experiences relevant to guiding its members about continuing education and the advances made as well as options available in the education of one’s employees.  Led by Merliza M. Makinano (second from left), Managing Director for the Institutional Marketing Center of the Development Academy of the Philippines, the delegation gained insights into the work of the VAk and received suggestions particularly regarding the efficient work of a modern educational service provider.  Also part of the Filipino group’s fact-finding tour that  lasted several days were visits made to other educational service providers for the civil service sector in Germany.  (Photo courtesy of Berlin.de)
