The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) arranged for a five-day Study Mission on Innovation and Productivity in the Canadian Public Sector held in Ottawa and Toronto, Canada.
The goal of the study mission was to benchmark the Canadian public sector innovation excellence framework and practices in relation to public sector productivity including relevant federal and local government policies. Moreover, the delegates observed winners of the Canadian Public Excellence Awards and took note of their ‘smart practices’.
DAP Pres. and APO Alternate Dir. for the Philippines Antonio Kalaw Jr., DAP SVP for Programs Magdalena Mendoza, and Civil Service Commission Chairman Dr. Francisco Duque III formed the Philippine contingent. They were joined by other delegates from China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
