The Productivity & Development Center (PDC) of the Development Academy

of the Philippines supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO)

conducted a research study on Productivity Improvement, Competitiveness,

quality Jobs in the Philippine garment industry.  The study is a timely response

to identifying the needs of the industry as low-cost producers from other

countries have started to erode local garment firms of their competitiveness.
