The Government Quality Management Committee, through the Development Academy of the Philippines’ (DAP) Productivity and Development Center, will host the annual forum on the Public Sector Quality and Productivity Improvement on December 15-16, 2020 via virtual platform.

In light of the disruptions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme for this year is, “Smarter Government through Effective Quality Management System (QMS): Responding to COVID-19 and Rethinking Public Service Delivery.” Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from the brilliant and engaging speakers on the forum discussions of key issues affecting the QMS implementation and public service delivery. This year’s forum shall serve as a platform for the experts and public sector agencies to share best practices and approaches, as well as, lessons learned based on experiences in delivering smart service delivery. Likewise, it paves way for collaborations towards smarter QMS.

The forum presentations will cover a range of topics on the Responses to COVID-19 through Public Service Continuity; Rethinking Public Service through Innovation; panel discussions on Foresight Thinking in the Public Sector – Looking forward to opportunities Post COVID 19; Impact, Opportunities, and Challenges of Innovating Public Service Delivery; and, moderated question and answer portions.

The Government Quality Management Program aims to enhance citizen satisfaction and public sector productivity through government-wide quality improvement. It envisions taking a great leap in its priorities by leveling up its quality improvement initiatives and focusing on enhancing citizen satisfaction by 2022. Further, it builds capacities in fostering quality across public sector organizations.
