The PMDP held the MMC 21 – Silhig scholars’ Capstone Project Orientation Meeting for Institutional Partners on July 12, 2019 at the Virata Hall of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Pasig.
Nineteen out of the twenty-four expected Institutional Partners attended the briefing. They represented various government agencies namely Board of Investments (NCR), Central Bicol State University (Region V), Department of Agrarian Reform(Region VIII), Department of Education (NCR, CAR, Region VII and V), Department of Social Welfare and Development (Region III), Department of Health (Region V), Department of Interior and Local Government (Region IV-A), Department of Trade and Industry (Region XI), Landbank of the Philippines (Region XII and NCR), Department of Transportation (NCR), National Economic Development Authority (NCR), National Irrigation Administration (Region IX), Parole and Probation Administration (Region I), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Region VIII and BARMM), and Philippine Heart Center (NCR).
Faculty-in-Charge Nic Agustin, DAP President and CEO Atty. Engelbert C. Caronan Jr., PMDP Managing Director Nanette C. Caparros, MMC 21 Class Director Carolyn E. Espiritu, and PMDP Program Manager Reina Carmelita F. Young were present at the gathering.
Discussed in the meeting were the goals, features, and accomplishments of the program and updates on MMC21. The main agenda item was Capstone Project and the Institutional Partners’ important roles in ensuring through their successful implementation. All the Institutional Partners present happily expressed support for their scholars’ Capstone Projects.
