 The policy paper of PMDP MMC Batch 4 alumnus David B. Bungallon of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) was presented to the Congress as House Bill 2141: “An Act Repealing Republic Act 7834 and Establishing the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education Integrating the Technology Institutions of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Providing for its Powers, Structure and Funds Therefor.”
Mr. Bungallon’s policy paper, which focuses on the integration of TESDA Technology Institution, was initially submitted to PMDP as a final requirement in Public Policy Analyis module. The said integration is also part of his Re-entry Project called “Co-Management of the Baguio City School of Arts and Trades with the City Government of Baguio”.
As of this writing, House Bill 2141 is still being deliberated at the Congress. Below is a copy of the bill.
