Announcement on DAP's 35th Anniversary Activities

The Honor Roll, a tribute to the DAP's founding institutions and former Presidents, and the DAPpers Night, the annual reunion of incumbent and former DAP employees, scheduled on June 23, will be moved to the following dates:

Honor Roll for Founding Institutions followed by the DAPpers Night will be in October in line with DAP's celebration of its year-long 35th anniversary during Productivity Month.

Honor Roll for the former DAP Presidents and their Conferment to the Council of Fellows will be between July and October upon the availability of the honorees.

For three decades now, one institution has focused on approaches to national development. This is the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).

Established in June 1973, its mandate has been to assist in the country's development efforts in two ways: as change catalyst and as capacity-builder. Remaining constantly focused on this two-fold mission, it has assisted in shaping new government policies, crafting innovative development programs, and modernizing the management of government agencies and private enterprises.

As change catalyst, DAP has played the role of "think tank" of government. Its greatest achievement can be gleaned from all the new ideas that have been adopted in government whether they be programs, policies, or new technologies. More...
